Water and sewer are billed quarterly. By Resolution, the Borough of Milltown allows a 28 day grace period before charging a penalty for late payments. Failure to receive a bill in the mail does not invalidate the bill. It is the account holder’s responsibility to contact the Utility office to obtain the total amount due.

A lien will be sold against the property if there are any unpaid utility bills owed from the previous year, this may also include other municipal charges.

If you are selling your home, please have your Title Agency or Attorney complete the Final Meter Readings Form (PDF) and submit it to the Utility office at least 24 hours in advance of the closing.
If a tenant is moving out, the owner or the tenant can complete the Final Meter Readings Form (PDF) and submit it to the Utility office at least 24 hours prior to the departure of the tenant.
