[ARCHIVED] 4th of July Celebration

Poster including the events and times to take place on 4th of July

Road Closures and Parking Limitations

On Thursday July 4 there will be planned road closures, and detours due to the many scheduled events throughout the day. There will be traffic delays and closures during the 5K Race, the parade, as well as the evening fireworks show.
Main St. will be closed at 9:30 am between Lincoln Ave. and Ochs Ave. for parade.

Certain streets will have no street parking rules in effect from 6:00 am until after the fireworks display is over.
No vehicles will be allowed to park on Violet Terrace, both sides, from 7:00 am and until after the fireworks display (approximately 12:00 am).
Parking restrictions will be placed on various sections of Bruce Court with signs placed accordingly. Please advise your guests of these restrictions.
Illegally parked vehicles will be immediately towed to allow for emergency vehicles.

Fireworks

Please see the attached flyer regarding the use of approved fireworks. It is important to note that many fireworks remain illegal such as all “aerial” and “explosive” fireworks.  Our officers along with other agencies will be strictly enforcing these laws.
