  1. Leaf Bags Available

    Leaf bags will be available to pick up at the DPW Garage, 50 Washington Ave, Monday – Friday from 8am – 3pm and every Saturday in November from 8am – 12noon. This is for Milltown residents only and is limited to 5 bundles per visit.
  2. Paper Shred on October 21

The Borough of Milltown Public Works Department is not the same “old road department”. Aside from taking care of its borough’s roadways via sweeping, snow removal, re-surfacing of roads and road repairs, the Public Works Department manages a variety of responsibilities and the Department is staffed with highly skilled and certified professionals. 

Department Responsibilities

Public Works handles all sanitation collections and curbside collections. The department is responsible for:

  • Line Painting
  • Maintaining Signage for Buildings
  • Park and Building Maintenance for All Borough Buildings
  • Roadways and Parks

Our Department of Public Works works hard daily and strives to maintain the quality of life that residents of Milltown have come to expect.

Curbside Collections

First Wednesday of each month: Metal
Second Wednesday of each month: TV/Electronics
Third Wednesday of each month: Non-Metal Bulk
Fourth Wednesday of each month: Tires
Thursdays: Clipper with appointment 732-828-2100 ext. 186
