Did you know that you can now vote by mail in New Jersey?
No more waiting until the last minute or rushing to the polling place only to wait in line. Thanks to a change in state law, anyone can use an absentee ballot and cast their vote by mail.
 
Download the form below to participate in New Jersey’s new “No Excuse/Vote By Mail” Absentee Ballot Program.
 
Once you have downloaded the form, print it out, fill in your information and send it to your County Clerk’s Office.

When your ballot arrives; make your selections, sign the form and put it in the mail. It’s that easy to cast your vote.

Instructions:
 
1. Fill out application
 
2. Print and sign your name where indicated.
 
3. Mail or deliver application to your County Clerk.
 

Information:
 
◊ You must be a registered voter.
 
◊ You will not be permitted to vote at  your polling place in the same election.
 
◊ Your absentee Ballot must be received by the County Board of Elections before close of polls on Election Day (8:00pm).
 
◊ You will receive instructions with your Ballot.
 
◊ Your Ballot will be mailed on or after the 40th day prior to Election Day.
 
◊ Do not submit more than one application for the same Election. You must apply for an Absentee Ballot for each Election.


Warning:

 
This application must be received by the County Clerk not later than 7 days prior to the election unless you apply in person or if sick or confined via authorized messenger during County Clerk's office hours to 3:00 pm the day prior to the election.
