[ARCHIVED] Milltown Community News

The Holiday Season arrived in Milltown when Santa lit our tree and he dropped a special mailbox by the Milltown Police Department at Borough Hall at 39 Washington Avenue.  Thanks to the Milltown PBA, who helped Santa put his mailbox and display together, it’s ready to receive all the children’s letters.

Children can drop off their Letters to Santa using this mailbox until December 18th!  The PBA will ensure that Santa receives all the letters at the North Pole by Christmas, December 25th !

All letters should be addressed to:

Santa Claus

101 Santa Claus Lane

North Pole, AK 99705

Please remember to include a stamped, self-addressed envelope so that Santa's elves can send back a little surprise to leave out for the reindeer on Christmas Eve. The reindeer will need extra food so that they are able to keep their energy up to help Santa make all his deliveries.  Parents and guardians are welcome to take pictures of their children in front of the decorated, festive holiday house that sits next to Santa's special mailbox when dropping off their letters. You are invited to take pictures in front of the Christmas Tree as well that is located in the front of Borough Hall. We wish everyone a healthy, safe and joyous Holiday Season!
